    Tom Joseph

    Tom Joseph, an Indian volleyball player, known for his fierce attacking play, played for the country for over 25 years. In a stand out performance he captained the national team to victory in the Rashid Memorial International Volleyball Tournament in Dubai in 2000, securing a gold medal. He proudly represented and Captained India in two Asian Games, four Asian Volleyball Championships, and the 2009 World Championship qualifiers in Tehran. Recognizing his outstanding contributions to volleyball, Joseph was honored with the Arjuna Award in 2014. Joseph also bagged national and state-level awards, including GV Raja Award (2013), Jimmy George Award (2009), JCI International Award (2010), Youth Icon Award (2014), Janasakthi Puraskaram (2013), 5th KIES State Excel Award (2016) and Sreerama Puraskaram (2018).

    Pusarla Venkata Ramana

    PV Ramana (Pusarla Venkata Ramana), a former professional volleyball player and father of Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, proudly served as a member of the Indian men's national volleyball team. Known to be one of the fiercest spikers, it was his blocking skills that helped the Indian volleyball team win a prestigious bronze medal at the 1986 Asian Games in . In acknowledgment of his notable contributions to Indian volleyball, he was honored with the prestigious Arjuna Award in the year 2000.

    M. Shyam Sundar Rao

    M. Shyam Sundar Rao, a former volleyball player and a coach himself, he was associated with the Indian Volleyball for nearly half a century (as a player & coach) from 1960 – 2010. The former head coach of the Indian National volleyball team, has had a profound love for volleyball. Rao is known to be one of the only players who played in 20 National Championships showcasing his dedication and commitment to the game of Volleyball. He's also one of the few players who represented 4 teams & captained all of them in National Championships. As a coach, it was under his coaching, the Indian junior & National Volleyball teams experienced international success. The Indian government recognized Sundar Rao's dedication by presenting him with the Arjuna Award for his outstanding volleyball performance in 1974 and the Dronacharya Award for his excellence in coaching in 1995
